Mid-Autumn Moon Festival | 中秋節, 1 October
October 1, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Come celebrate the lunar calendar’s Mid-Autumn Festival with us this 1 October because we all need a bit of joy back in our lives! Also known as Moon Festival or Harvest Moon Festival, it’s celebrated across many Asian cultures:
- 中秋節 (zhōng qiū jié) in China
- Tết Trung Thu in Vietnam
- Lantern Festival in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia
- 추석/秋夕(chuseok) in Korea
- 月見 (tsukimi) in Japan
- សែនព្រះខែ (sampeah preach khae) in Cambodia
It’s a time for gathering with friends and family (over a drink or two!), giving thanks and praying to the moon. It also ties in with our Haku Vodka Tanabata cocktails all October.
Join us on Thursday 1 October for a cocktail and enjoy a mini Chinese-style lotus paste moon cake on us (available from 4pm till stocks run out)! Happy Moon Festival to you all!
