Our mate Junda Khoo, head chef and owner of Ho Jiak in Haymarket, Strathfield and soon-to-open in Town Hall (where we’ll be doing a bespoke cocktail list!) has been itching to create bar snacks designed to be eaten alongside our fine cocktails.
We’ll have an exclusive, one-night only menu of modern Malaysian bites like otak otak, salted egg yolk chicken nuggets, mee siam and Singapore chilli crab baos.
Cocktails from our very own half-Malaysian Jason Ang and former Malaysian ex-pat Yoshi Onishi will feature favourite Malaysian flavours and ingredients, like jackfruit, pandan and chilli.
